Our Love Letter to Austin: A Reproductive Justice Takeover at SXSW 2025

During SXSW 2025, our movement came together and transformed Austin through a cultural takeover for abortion access. We used art, protest, joy, and resistance to reshape the landscape.

This multi-day activation was a public call for reproductive freedom and digital visibility. It was powered by grassroots organizing, permanent art, and radical joy.

Unruly Bodies at Cheer Up Charlies

Yeehaw for Abortion at Future Front Texas

Jane’s Due Process brought radical Southern joy to the SXSW lineup with Yeehaw for Abortion. This event was hosted at the Future Front Texas House and centered youth voices, queer community, and unapologetic support for abortion rights in the South.

Murals and Protest Takeover Against Big Tech Censorship

Repro Uncensored partnered with Women on Web, EFF, Plan C, the Latina Institute, Fight for the Future, and Essentials Creative to install two permanent public murals by artists Jasmine Zelaya and SM SANZ.

We also organized a citywide protest calling out Big Tech for censoring abortion information. This action was part of our broader effort to defend the right to access accurate, life-saving care without interference or suppression.
