SARAJEVO! Gender Equality Forum 2026

Repro Uncensored will join policymakers, civil society leaders, researchers, and advocates in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, for the Gender Equality Forum within the Berlin Process 2026. This year's Forum brings together governments, regional institutions, and civil society to address one central question: How can we protect and advance gender equality in a time of growing uncertainty and backlash?

Will contribute to discussions on the growing censorship of sexual and reproductive health information online and its impact on gender equality, democratic participation, and access to essential health information. The session will explore how digital platforms increasingly shape what information remains visible, who can access it, and what this means for feminist movements and human rights globally.

Across the world, communities seeking access to abortion information, sexual health education, harm reduction resources, and gender justice advocacy are increasingly facing content removals, account suspensions, and algorithmic suppression on major digital platforms. These restrictions have real-world consequences, limiting access to healthcare information, weakening civil society, and restricting democratic participation.

Through its research, reporting, and advocacy, Repro Uncensored documents these patterns of digital censorship, supports affected organizations, and works to advance greater transparency, accountability, and redress from dominant technology platforms. The Gender Equality Forum provides an important opportunity to connect these challenges to broader regional and international conversations on gender equality, democratic resilience, and fundamental rights.
