Our team will be at the PublicSpaces Conference 2026: Technology for Democracy in Amsterdam this June to discuss the growing impact of platform governance, AI moderation, and online censorship on queer communities, cultural spaces, reproductive health organizations, and democratic participation globally.
Amsterdam is a particularly important hub for our work at Repro Uncensored. Over recent months, the city has been at the center of escalating waves of censorship impacting queer communities, nightlife spaces, artists, and cultural organizations, with many collectives, including organizations connected to the broader PublicSpaces ecosystem such as Waag Futurelab, experiencing account removals, shadowbanning, and visibility suppression firsthand.
This place is especially important to us as we continue documenting and challenging how opaque enforcement systems and platform governance are reshaping cultural visibility and democratic participation globally.
