Repro Uncensored will be presenting at EU DisinfoLab’s #Disinfo2026 Annual Conference in Vilnius, Lithuania, joining researchers, journalists, civil society organizations, policymakers, and technology experts from across Europe and beyond.
This year’s conference focuses on moving from analysing disinformation to confronting it, bringing together the counter-disinformation community to explore practical responses, accountability, disruption strategies, litigation, and ways to strengthen the information ecosystem.
Repro Uncensored will contribute to the conference with a session examining the intersection of disinformation, digital censorship, and platform power. Drawing on our research and documentation of censorship cases around the world, we will explore how the same digital infrastructures that shape the spread and visibility of information can also restrict access to legitimate information and silence civil society, journalists, activists, artists, and marginalized communities.
Across major digital platforms, automated moderation, opaque enforcement systems, and other forms of algorithmic decision-making increasingly determine what information remains visible, who is able to participate online, and whose voices are amplified or suppressed.
Through its research, reporting, direct support, advocacy, and legal action, Repro Uncensored documents these patterns and works to hold dominant technology platforms accountable. At #Disinfo2026, we will connect our work on digital censorship and platform accountability to broader questions of information integrity, democratic participation, fundamental rights, and the power of Big Tech over the public information space.
The EU DisinfoLab Annual Conference takes place at the Radisson Blu Lietuva in Vilnius, with the main programme on 7–8 October and pre-conference workshops on 6 October.
