If You Ever: Poems Inspired by Kim Addonizio

Repro Uncensored supports If You Ever: Poems Inspired by Kim Addonizio, an anthology dedicated to the power of community. Each piece is a response to Kim Addonizio's classic poem "To the Woman Crying Uncontrollably in the Next Stall." Co-edited by Iva Markicevic Daley, Kristina Percy, and Candace Kronen, If You Ever is built on the premise that hope is a group project.

This collection was created to transform that hope into words and action. Shortly before the Hands Off protests on April 5, 2025, Candace shared her poem "To the Woman Reading the Protest Flyer at the Grocery Store," written in response to Kim's original piece. After receiving a flood of response poems, Candace teamed up with Iva and Kristina, whose work often bridges poetry and activism, to curate this anthology showcasing the power of our stories.

At a time when the voices of women and marginalized communities are increasingly silenced, the If You Ever project offers one way to push back against that erasure. All proceeds from the anthology and related merchandise will be donated to Keep Our Clinics, a campaign to support abortion care.
