Ismini Mangafas
Ismini is a writer, researcher, and strategist with a global footprint who seeks to support efforts that locally operationalize universal human rights. She emphasizes principles over politics and encourages solidarity to move from mechanical to organic formats (a framework she first encountered in Chapter 3 of Emile Durkheim's Division of Labor.) She happens to be religious, which is one of the reasons she believes that people have natural rights, both in the physical and digital worlds. Ismini is grateful for multidisciplinary scholarship, which unlocked her specific interests in political economy, geopolitics, and anti-hierarchical governance.
